Default Dend. Peng Seng (tobaense x cruentum)

I am loving this primary hybrid - the splash of red on the throat just amazes me every time. Looking forward to getting one of it's parents later this year Thanks for looking!

It's so pretty that it almost looks fake. A+ on this baby.

Very nice primary Calvin! I love Dens from the Formosae group. Will the petals stay green or eventually turn white? Should be fragrant too???

Thanks everyone! I was trying to look up what cruentum means and it seems to have something to do with blood/red...I guess it's to do with how the red resembles a splash of blood!

Terri - I'm a huge fan of the formosae dends too! I will see how the color changes for this one - I think cruentum goes a little white as it ages but tobaense remains green, so it would be interesting to see what happens with this one!
