Default Den. anosmum var. superbum

I bought a Den. superbum in Feb. that was in bloom. Since then, the blooms have dropped, and I now have about 6 kikis on 2 of the canes, along with a new cane growing. Is this normal for this variety, or am I stressing the plant to cause the kikis? Any help would be appreciated.

thank you

No problem with the keikis. These guys do that a lot. Just remember to give bright light and TONS of water while its growing.

I hang mine outside for the summer under shade cloth structure. Yes, it's normal for the keikis and like steve said, lot of water while growing.

I guess mine must be abnormal, then. I have only ever had 1 keiki shoot off and that was from bad watering habits, I think. Mine bloom faithfully (here is mine this year ) and they send out new shoots just as faithfully. They get full sun (behind window screen) in south-facing window, summer heat, daily soaking in fertilizer/water and grow very long roots and very long canes One has two canes each year and the other has three canes.
