Default Second spike this year on Dend. Noid

I'm very pleased with this Noid. This her second blooming session in the last few months. Usually my Dends. bloom only once a year.

Hi Junebug. Your dendro looks a lot like mine. Check It out.

It does look similar. The green petals on mine are very pale and turn almost white when in full bloom. I have another Noid Den. that displays a much darker green coloration. It's blooms were a beautiful color but a bit mishapen (probably due to a sunburn it suffered last year.) I'm including photos of my dens first bloom a few months ago and the other greener den. The greener one is still recovering. It had a new growth that fizzled out but is now sprouting a new one. I had switched all of my dens to S/H. After 6 weeks I was not impressed and converted them to a Coconut husk mixture. They are lovin' their new media. The first photo shows the first bloom of the rebloomer. Notice how the petals have almost turned white.

I see that it's much lighter than mine. The other one has great coloration. THEY ARE TWO BEAUTIES.

I forgot to mention that the darker one delivered a spicy scent with a hint of nutmeg. Ummm, Delicious! I didn't notice the aroma until the bloom was fully mature and beginning to drop a few blooms. I've never had a scented dendrobium. Maybe it's a den and something else. Spice cake perhaps?
