Default Dendrobium formosum

I am so happy that I got this one to re-bloom this year, as it is one of my favorites!
The flowers are quite large for a Den, as they are about the size of my hand!

There are 2 more spikes that have yet to bloom and if I remember correctly this one stayed in bloom a long time last year

Wow. That's a pretty formosum.
The new growth of my plant is just 10 cm tall now. I think i have to wait for another 3 months to see its flowers.

It's funny when I bought this one last year, I was looking at small plants and saw one of these that had a few smaller flowers on it and was intriqued. When I inquired about purchasing it Louis mentioned that there was one in the front that if I wanted one, it was the one to buy, but it was a bit pricey! After seeing it, I couldn't resist. It stole my heart right away and I've never regretted spending the extra money on it!
I've learned over time that sometimes you should get the bigger, better one even if it costs a lot more, otherwise you'll be disappointed with waiting forever to get your small one to grow up!

Laura it's awesome! I love the orange marking on the lip. Is it fragrant?
