Den. Paskel Kuning 'Hawaii' In Bloom
I've had this plant for at least 3 years, and this is it's first rebloom for me. It was kind of a surprise. It started a spike earlier in the year which blasted. (I think it was too cold) I showed my collection to an orchid buddy and told her that if this one didn't get busy and produce something I was moving it closer to the trash can! A week later a new spike emerged out of the side of the cane rather than the apex. It has a total of 6 flowers. I also took a picture of the whole plant. This is one I over potted but it didn't seem to mind one bit. The new cane is over an inch in diameter, and there are roots flying everywhere.

Wonderful blossoms! To me it is also always a surprise if some of my orchids start to rebloom - one of the best feelings for me :-)

I don't know, but it seemed like a pretty big coincidence!

my Grandma always said you have to speak to your plants... I am sure she never thought of this version: "Either you start blooming RIGHT NOW or I send you to the trash can!"

I really, really love this one! The color combo is beautiful and unusual. It looks absolutely huge, is it? What size pot is that? Sorry for all the questions, I just love it.
