Not to correct you allakazaam, but I bought my first 6 cymbids at walmart - london this year $23 each, then being the addict that I am bought another 4 after the flowers were done for $10 each. In my view dollar cost averaging...or that's what I told my husband anyways.

Congrats on the rescue, Job well done. Was at Walmart the other day snooping and found approx. 10 left over cymbids - no flowers. They are covered in plastic still, doesn't look like they're being watered or otherwize cared for and there's no signs about them pricewize or anything. Didn't have the heart to ask an emloyee about them as I didn't want to be driving home with a van full of them...10 is enough!
