I have been patiently waiting for this Den to bloom...kept it dry all winter. It has 2 spikes and it looks like it is going to bud blast. What did I ro wrong? A year is so long to wait!

I can only sympathize, no advice to give. I have found this species to be a really reluctant bloomer. I have tried drying it out, not drying it out... It was previously named Den aggregatum, more like aggrevatum...

Feel so sorry it blusted this year. Plants do what they are able to do in the circumstances we put them in. With my challenges I hope that the older and stronger my plants become the more likely they are to bloom.
But as more time passes I slowly realize that some plants may never be comfortable enough to bloom in my conditions.
