NOID Dendrobium nobile in bloom

I have this plant for three years now. Bought it in a groceries store as a huge green bush with one bud at the top. ) Next year it produced about 4 buds.
This year all these impressive canes have wonderful bunches of buds and flowers. Scent is very light and nice. Dewy and honey-like.

About 30% of buds dried after a sudden temperature change. I moved plant to a room with steady temperature to hopefully preserve what is left. The rest of them opened.

Thank you. Kudos should mostly go to a farm and people who supported this plant over the years of really good growing. Canes were in perfect condition, plump, green, full of life. I am happy to see all that work payed off in proper for blooming conditions with temperature dive at the right moment. I hope to be able to grow canes somewhat similar. So far one cane takes about two-three years to reach maturity and start blooming.

Very nice Firefly! Really like the colors. Indeed an excellent grocery store find. It's nice it balanced out its blooms to space them along the whole height of the plant. Gonna show this picture to a couple of mine and see if they understand what I want them to do!

What a beauty! This gives me hope that my Nobile's that produce a a handful of blooms across a couple of canes might develop into as impressive display as this!

I wonder if this technique works... most of my plants could be shown a "could do better" picture

These sure do give a great floral reward when grown properly, as yours is. They just get too tall for my present growing conditions but I have grown them in the past.
