The underside of the leaves are all purple. And some of the sudobulbs are also a lot of purple in them.

That 's a beautiful plant! I don't have that one... have sworn off killing Den. cuthbertsoniis. You have taken on a challenge... these like high humidity and cool temperatures (try to keep the maximum high under about 72 deg F, 70 an even better target). Cold is not a problem, they can easily tolerate down to 40 deg F. A wonderful species, very difficult to grow outside of a controlled environment (some people use modified wine coolers) unless you live in the coastal San Francisco, California area where it seems to grow pretty easilly.

I knew of its temp requirements before I ordered it from Equidor. Thanks for the heads up,though. I like to try and keep my home about 70 anyway, I sleep better that way, under the covers. This little fuzzy one is a wonder at the colors. It also has one little bloom on it (came that way) They say it blooms all year 🤞Just had it a few hours, hope I don’t look it to death.
Thanks PPM, I’ll try looking that up to compare.

From what I’ve read so far the parameters the lav. lives in are very similar to the one I have, difference is appearance ,mine has fuzzy leaves&the blooms are like little long horns. The undersides of all the leaves are pure purple. If you look at it from the bottom it’s really something. If you check out the pic you can see the one little bloom.
