Default Den phal hybrid 'sa-nook Thailand Black'

Purchased beginning of Dec '23 from one of the local grocery stores for just €7. This bloomed for around 5/6 months before dropping the flowers and starting new growths. As you can see I've been a little too 'generous' with the light levels, but I've got 2 definite spikes, and 2 more possible spikes starting from the previous year's canes.

I'm super thrilled - I've never had any success with growing and reblooming den phals. They hated the Irish weather I subjected them to previously, and would limp along until finally dying. This is further than I've ever gotten with one previously.

Good growing! Why do you think too much light? It looks good to me, and it's spiking.

I guess you can only really see the purple on the cane in the second pic if you look closely, but here's some pics from different angles.

All the old canes, and the entirety of some of their leaves, have a nice magenta sun tan xD

The new canes only have purple around the leaf tips as I pulled it back from the window it was sitting in.

A biiiitttt too much light for this guy, but it's a tough plant.
