D. lindleyi (aggregatum) mystery growth - spike? Female
Question D. lindleyi (aggregatum) mystery growth - spike?

Hello all, I was watering my D. lindleyi and just found this interesting new growth. It's not coming from the roots like the usual pseudobulbs I'm used to seeing, so I'm wondering what it could be. Is it possibly a spike?

Hi Roberta, you were right! My plant just decided to be weird and grow a new bulb right out the side of another. It's looking happy though, so I'm happy with whatever works best for it.
