I can't get my kingianum to flower, it keeps aborting its spikes. Its tried to send out a flush of blooms twice now but the spikes keep dying before any buds develop. Any idea why? I don't change the environment at all while its growing its spikes, and it otherwise grows vigorously.
I wonder if it is "confused". Den. kingianum usually blooms in the spring (late February to mid March where I live) , something that it "recognizes" if exposed to natural conditions (winter chill, day getting longer in spring) Trying to match those cues with indoor growing may be a bit of a challenge.
