D. mohlianum x cuthbertsonii yellowing leaves
Hi all,
I got this cute little hybrid in September. I got it in bloom and it did not do much since then, except a few flowers bud opening. In fact, not a single flower dried or dropped!
However, I noticed some leaves yellowing and falling off during November. Blooms still persist. I do not see new growth either, so I'm wondering if it doesn't like the conditions or it's simply deciduous and older canes should be bare in winter? It'd probably be hard to say, since it's a hybrid but I could not find the information whether parents are deciduous or not.
I keep it in a cool terrarium under relatively strong light (top leaves are reddish). It is mounted with sphagnum moss and it stays moist pretty much constantly. I do let it approach dryness then and there, but it's fairly wet in general. I fertilize it once a week with half-strength Rain Mix from Akerne and I use distilled water for watering. Temperature is around 20 C (70 F) during day and falls down to 15 C (69F) during night.
It's strange that it started suffering now when the weather got cooler, while it was ok during summer when temps were warmer... All my other Lepanthes and Restrepias love it.
