Default Dendrobium Miyakei (Goldschmidtianum)

First bloom for this Den. Miyakei (Goldschmidtianum), I received this from Andy's about 2 years ago as a n.b.s. plant
This is one of my favorites in my collection! It's an easy one for me to grow. Enjoy!

It's a beautiful species. The color almost glows. Those bare canes can rebloom for several years.

Nice, looks like a darker colored bracteosum, though apparently flowering in autumn vs spring.
I killed my last bracteosum, I'm hoping the one I've now had for two years gives me flowers this coming year.
Is culture on this one similar, with needing to keep it somewhat moist?

It flowers best in winter but it really just flowers all year long. It does like it moist. I grow it in sphag moss

Yes, this plant loves being watered! I keep mine moist, watering every other day or when the moss starts to just dry, and keep slightly drier in the winter months.
Mine is in need of a repot lol
