Yes @estación heard about that fertilizing too much can cause keiki growth. I bought this one recently this year in February and repotted after blooms fell off.

Thanks Roberta that sounds perfect it should learn to recognize seasonal changes as time goes by. Will stop fertilizing late summer and reduce watering.

Orchid board is such an amazing source of information and knowledge. I currently have a Nobile who is in bud on an old cane, it is the first time I have experienced this and I thought I was magic… apparently not
