Thumbs up dendrobium "Mountain's Butterfly Kisses"

thanks to Roberta and orchid board society the identity of this one was re discovered. Being lost in a mis named tag. Older flowers I removed and 1 more bud opened up and one new cane is budding up. This one is non stop. Thank you all!! I got a name reminds me of the song..

this pot of canes I have from Sam Tsui looks like it might be the last. He no longer takes online orders.
Orchid Inn Ltd.

Ill have to covet these much more . Wanted a few extras so guess got to grow my own. Real happy they do so well. Not any particular special attention needed. Have to watch these bec its going to get hot outside.

3 flowers on the small plant n 3 buds and 10 buds on the larger plant!!

So RJSquirrel, glad I ordered (and got) this one last year from Sam. I wonder why he backed off internet orders? Not that many locals usually want orchids (anywhere, I would think). I was VERY pleased with the plants he sent (2 paphs and this).
Unless this variety is prone to keikis, I am beholding a pair of buds on leafless canes. It's also producing two new growths at the same time (which I kinda figured wouldn't be the same time).
It does seem much much more amenable to culture then cuthbersonii. So glad I saw your post of it's bloom!

Sam just getting tired maybe hey? It happens too often in the orchid business these days.

They are fun to grow and bloom indeed

my count today was 13 buds on the big plant. 1st one is start to peek open. They like to make double buds. They do like to make Keiki's too. They just love to grow!!

100 degree days is good for nothing I can think of cept for making compost faster out of your plants.
