Throughout the winter I kept mine in a tent that stayed 80-90 F and got about 14 hours of light from a led grow light. During spring - fall it stays outdoors in 80-110 F. This one definitely likes it hot and bright.
I will say the first year I got it, it did not do much. It did seem to sulk for a while. The second year (probably because I figured out how to care for it better) it slowly started new growths, and this last 6 months it has put out 3 new canes.
