Den cuthbertsonii x sulawesiense(glomeratum) = Den. Mtn's Buterfly Kisses

What make this impossible to find is that it's listed with Den. glomeratum as the other parent (Den sulawesiense is considered a synonym so that one has to be decoded first)

but Den Sulawesi is not Dendrobium sulawesiense.

they are 2 different plants.

Sulawesi is a hybrid of
Den. violaceoflavens
Dendrobium lineale
Den. bigibbum var. schroederianum

Dendrobium Sulawesi

Dendrobium glomeratum

"Sulabertasonii"

My suspicion is that it was really sulawesiense, a mislabeling. I looked at the listed hybrids with cuthbertsonii and none of the species look like they're in the section(s) included in Den Sulawesi. Likely they don't breed with each other.

Lol, so do we continue to call it as the label says?

Might be worth at asking, though... It's an easy enough error to make. Won't be the first time something got mislabeled to a similar name.

Mtn's Butterfly Kisses x cuthbertsonii produces a flower that looks even more like a cuthbertsonii, and is just as forgiving even with the warm-grower diluted some more. Den Swiss Mountain Palace.
