Default cuthbertsonii hybrids

Im finding a lot of these primary hybrids I do like.
this is cuthbertsonii x sulawesi. The Dendrobium Illusion is the cuthbertsonii x lawesi. The cuthbertsonii x laevifolium are just amazing blooming little plants also.

looks like a giant cuthbertsonii bi-color bloom which it was crossed with cuthbertsonii bi-color "purple". hangs like the sulawesi.

Looks great! I love Den cuthbertsonii, but they don't like my warm summers. I have given up killing them. But the hybrids that are mostly cuthbertsonii with just a bit of warmer-growing species such as glomeratum (sulawesiense), lawesii, laevifolium, etc. look like Den cuthbertsonii on steroids but are far more forgiving. I have Den. Swiss Mountain Palace, which is (Den. cuthbertsonii x Den glomeratum) x Den cuthbertsonii -so is 75% cuthbertsonii- and it grows and blooms well outside for me. It has the cold-tolerance of cuthbertsonii but also is tolerant of summer warmth. Win-win.
