I have no ID on this big boy but I assume this is an speciosum type.
maybe a decade old? This guy takes up around 1/5 of the porch

That does look beautiful. Yes, it's probably a Den. speciosum.

A beautiful specimen plant - very likely Den speciosum (could be hybrid but most hybridizing reduces size, this one doesn't have that situation). Anybody concerned about potting these beasts should look carefully... the pot is pretty much irrelevant except to hold the plant in place. When to repot? Pretty close to "never" works fine. What a show!
