Dendrobium speciosum
Den speciosum and I have a 'love hate' relationship. My first plants was a division from Bryon (in Kansas?). The second year I had it, it produced 13 spikes. For the NJOS show, it had 5 flowers open on one spike. For the DCOS show 3 weeks later, it had 5 flowers left on one spike.
About 8 years ago, I purchased a seedling from Kawamoto on Ebay. It has bloomed for the past 3 or 4 years, currently with 6 or 7 spikes.
Of course, both NJOS and DCOS have canceled their shows due to Covid-19, so I have nowhere to show this plant now.
