Default Dendrobium speciosum cultivar info

A few days ago, a number of Walsh hybrid speciosums were posted on ebay [an unexpected, but very welcome end of the year surprise here in the US ] Unfortunately, the descriptions accompanying plants are very brief--most of them, so far as I can tell are divisions from Walsh's 2014 & 2015 hybridizations. For those of you that don't know Gerry Walsh, a lot of his breeding is centered on intervarietal Dendrobium speciosum hybridization, usually with an end aim of reducing plant size while maintaining floral count, substance and color saturation. I thought it would be helpful to pass along both links to his hybrid lists & the current speciosum cultivar notes, in case anybody is curious--I think only SVO and H&R are currently doing any sort of breeding with Aussie Natives here in the US, with little [if any] focus on straight speciosum breeding. Have a look if you're curious:

The dates on the web page say 2015. Is there something more current?

To my knowledge these are the last hybrids offered; if you are perusing on ebay, you will see that many of the plants offered there are divisions of plants on this list [I included it because there are no descriptions given on ebay]

In addition to SVO (hybrids only, no straight speciosum that I recall) and H&R curvicaule seedlings, I also obtained some seedlings from Kalapana about 2 years ago (reportedly curvicaules also).

Are you referring to the puny (and highly priced) seedlings from "Letstalkplants?" I will give them a little credit now that they are actually confirming that the plants are recent imports. In the past they implied that they were part of their own breeding program and not imports, even though both photos and descriptions were clearly acquired from Gerry's website. When I sent an email to them asking if they had thought about giving Gerry credit for using both his pictures and his descriptions (lifted verbatim), they sent back a reply stating that they had his permission. That may or may not be accurate, but I noticed that this time Gerry's detailed descriptions of the crosses are absent. Gerry's usually very responsive to emails. If you contact him to request a description of one of these crosses that you're interested in, I would imagine he'd be pleased to help.
