Dendrobium pendulum black/brown spot on stem and yellowing leaf

Hi all, I have a Dend. pendulum that has a new growth and everything has been going good so far. But recently over the last few weeks I've seen this brown spot emerge on the base of the stem and now the bottom leaf has started yellowing with the newest leaf looking stunted a little bit.

My main concern is that last seasons growth didn't have this black spot and that the leaves didn't yellow this early (especially since the new growth has only been growing for a month or two). So I'm looking for advice on whether or not this is just an overreaction or it's something more like cold damage or infection.

I don't see anything to worry about. The new growth is much larger than the previous, indicating it's growing well under your care.
