Despite the best efforts of the USPS (who left the box on top of a snow drift), the Dendrobiums I received from Equagenera in early March were in good condition. Den farmeri is the first to bloom:

Super! Am paying much more attention to Dens(acquiring more that is) as my first success with one is now in bloom-chrysotoxum. So yellow and fragrant. Farmeri could be next.

Yes, the lip is distinctive.

I have had this species before. That plant had more of a pink tint to the petals & sepals.
