Almost there...photos taken right now.
3 spikes
These guys are deciduous so I'm expecting to lose its leaves after blooming. When that happens, I'll cut the ferns and let them grow again when the hot season begins (good for shade and to keep the humidity around).

It bloomed already. There's another spike, still very small. It smells wonderful, a floral scent.
The ferns are taking control of the mount so when the blooms fade, they will be cut.

great growing on this one. To get it to bloom in less than a year from how it looked when you first got it this must have been what it wanted. I wouldn't have thought it was possible, with just the one leaf it had.
Not seen this one in cultivation before I don't think.

I was not worried about having only one leaf. In fact it should have no leaves at all. These are deciduous.
