Den. delicatum...never spiked.
Question Den. delicatum...never spiked.

Need some re-assurance that the delicatum does in fact flower.Plant has been in my collection for approx. 7 years
healthy growth doing well mounted....do the dormancy thing with occasional misting......I must be too attentive...help.

Dizz,

Try higher light for Dendrobium x delicatum. I've seen both parents of this natural hybrid, Den. tarberi (syn. Den. speciosum var. hillii) and Den. kingianum, growing in high light in situ and in cultivation. Low light will discourage blooming.

Plant is presently under Sun Agro 430watt......I think I need to pay closer attention to the seasonal requirements Fall/Winter.
