I grow them in a sort of unheated greenhouse.... even tho it's not a greenhouse. It's a small structure which receives a lot of light.... but it stays cold in winter. I don't grow them in Rome but in a city much cooler than Rome.
I have already two nobiles and they thrive staying there. We've very cold winter (often the temperature drops below 0°C)... but being protected from snow, wind and rain.... they enjoy that place!
Because of this natural temperature drop... they bloom beautifully. Tons of flowers among all the new canes.
For me, because of that place, it's super easy growing them.
@Ray, unfortunately, this place is not only mine and I can't keep all the plants I want there! If I could I would purchase them all!
