Do any of you grow this? Does anyone have a decent picture or cultural details? I saw it on Andy's website but, can't find much else.

I will be growing one soon. Look at it on IOSPE.

I did look at that before. Not very user friendly. I gather it's huge and not fussy. Andy has it mounted?! Let me know how it does for you.

It's in the crumenatum group. They have spindle-shaped pseudobulbs with long upper extensions. They need excellent drainage. I grew Den. crumenatum in LECA. H&R ships Den. faciferum in a net pot with a few chunks of extra-large bark, the way they ship Cattleya walkeriana.

To use IOSPE go to the correct genus page from the alphatetized entries at the top. Then use your browser's Search or Find in page function. Enter the species name. There are often other genera with that name, or synonyms, but you will get there eventually.

Yes, Hausermann’s had decent sized plants, but I waited too long and they were gone. Happily, I just got one from eBay. They may have more!

IOSPE says, "large to giant sized" and "...Large - under 48" tall Giant - Over 48" tall." 48" = 4 feet = 1.2 meters. But this grows very upright with close pseudobulb spacing, so it probably doesn't need as wide a pot as other large orchids.
