Bought as a seedling from SVO in 2015. I really don't know or have a good handle on caring for this plant and it has endured a lot of abuse. Luckily, these plants are quite resilient. The plant also has an amazing ability to rebloom from old canes. The plant has been in bloom for about 4 months and has produced nearly a hundred flowers. Still, I find that the buds blast at the top of the raceme and I'm unsure if its not enough light or fertilizer or some other factor that I don't understand yet. The purple splashes leave a bit to be desired in comparison to other versions of this plant I've seen. Still- its an impressive plant that is growing bigger and bigger every year and enjoys being ignored in the winter months.

Fertilizer not likely to be a issue... they don't eat much. I'm in awe of the longevity of the bloom period for you... mine blooms very well in the spring with the rest of the Aussie Dens but then the flowers fade in a couple of weeks like the rest of the group. So wow!
