Anyone know which variety of Dendrobium is the one we eat?

This is the so-called Phalaenopsis-type Dendrobium (It has nothing to do with Phalaenopsis except appearance, if you have a really good imagination) They're easy to grow under warm conditions, most I think are imported from Thailand or that general part of the world. They are also long-lasting as cut flowers. Many similar-looking hybrids, most probably not even named.

Definitely a DenPhal! For sure. I was actually wondering which hybrid or cultivar, sorry for the confusion. I think I've actually narrowed this one down! It looks like most cut-flower denphals are imported from Thailand, of which Den. Sonia 17 is a popular BOM (Bangkok Orchid Mericlone) type. Neat!
