Dend. nobile var. cooksonianum Male
Default Dend. nobile var. cooksonianum

A famous variety of Den. nobile.
Like Den. nobile, this one is also an easy plant to cultivate and to bloom. With good care, the plant will reach one meter high and is able to produce several hundreds of flowering buds in spring every year.

Like the color but grows too big for my collection. The flowers appear to be a little mis-formed or is it just beginning to open? Thanks for the pic.

Here is another image of its flower.
Their flowers seem dehydrated for unknown reason.

Nice flowers, I love the different shades of purple! It sure is going to be pretty when it reaches full size.

Wow, Pheli! I'm just imagining one of these a metre high! What a display that would be! Beautiful!
