Default Den. primulinum

There are several versions of this species. This one, native to Laos and Vietnam, is very different from the pink Den. primulium. Though they look different, they are easy plant to cultivate and to bloom.

I love the colors...is that a fuzzy lip I see in the photo?

How large is the overall plant? This seems like a fun one to grow!

Thanks for sharing,

The lips are slightly fimbriated.
The plant is medium-sized, about 10 inches tall.

That's beautiful! Mine lost all of its leaves over the winter when I let it go through its dry season. But it's still not doing anything at the moment--either producing buds or new growths. I might show it a picture of your flowers in the hope that it gets inspired. Are the flowers on your plant fragrant?

It is right to keep them dry in winter. In fact, my plant dropped all its leaves last December.
The buds emerged about 2 weeks ago and now it is blooming. New growths also appear at the same time.
The flower is very fragrant but slightly like that of Rhy. gigantea. Some people may regard it as an unpleasant odor.

It is olive now and will turn to yellow-green gradually.
