Dendrobium Adastra
This is a primary cross of anosmum x pierardii. The flowers are larger than either species, scented like musky rhubarb. Always a treat when the leaves fall off, I know it won't be long before the flowers!

I love the color. I have a pieradii but it is pink with white lip. My limbs are bare but I DO see buds appearing. Like you said, flowers will follow soon. I've seen a light lavender but not one with such a deep, rich color.

Oooohh - this is quite beautiful, Nancy. The colors AND the scent...I can only imagine what musky rhubarb smells like!
How large is the plant? Is it hanging in a basket?
