Default Dendrobium farmerii

Greetings -
The first time I saw one of these in bloom, it left me breathless. I thought (and still do) that it is one of the most beautiful orchids ever. Got this as a seedling several years ago, and this is its first bloom. People who grow it have told me that repotting/disturbing the roots really p*sses them off, so it is still in a little 2.5" plastic pot. Or sort of in it. There are, I think, 5 inflorescences with the buds open, and 3-4 more still growing.
I must carry it with me everywhere!
Enjoy - Nancy

wow WoW WOW! The color contrast is spectacular, I can only imagine how beautiful it is in person. How large are the individual blooms, and how large is the entire plant?

It looks amazing, thanks for sharing!

Yes, I would carry it everywhere with me too. Congratulations on getting yours to bloom--and in not ticking it off!

Wow!! That is so awesome growth and flowering. Not bad for haven been a seedling just a few years before.
