I've had a lot of blooming going on but also a lot of life going on so I'm just now getting around to posting the spring blooms.
William is from Andy's. He gets indirect sun all day and supplemental CFL for a few hours at each night. Daily watering with rain water, and occasional fertilizer application when I remember....I really don't know how much or how to add fertilizer to his diet.
Seems like a great little orchid, it will eventually blossom 10+ flowers.

Anyway here are the pics:
Since I always complain about not seeing the whole plant I'll lead by example and show you this ugly picture:

Now natural light of two blooms:

And a close up of those hairs!

It's not an ugly picture at all. It's just not the most picturesque mount in the world. I'm starting to not like Andy's mounts.

It IS a beauty, and I'm lucky to share in it with Mateo!

Ross - the photo was taken from the side view, and doesn't do the mount full justice...it's in the crook of a tree branch, which I prefer over cedar planks (found with most of our other Andy's mounts).

Shakkai - the fragrance is subtle, and can only be described as "flowery" in my mind.

Joy
