Dendrobium Formidible 'Floribunda'

First bloom.
Huge, Cattleya-like flower. It is supposed to be fragrant, but I cannot detect the smell yet.

Den. scabrilingue

Second time blooming.
Smells like a mixture of deodorant and cough syrup. Strange...but not that bad.

Den. cariniferum

Also the first time blooming. Light orange scent.
The outer sepal is so thick and shiny that it almost feels like it is made of some kind of plastic.

The orange lip coloring found on many of the nigro-hirsuites has always fascinated me.
I've had a few hybrids like Frosty Dawn and a few minis like D. bellatulum.

You pics make me want to get some more of them to try them in my yard to see if they can do well here.
