In Taiwan, Den . miyakei is only found in an island very near the Philippines. In the island, some orchids are also found, such as Vanda lamellata, Pahl, aphrodite and Phal. equestris...
Blooms and plants of these orchids were somewhat different from those found in our neighbor counteris.

As for Den. miyakei, i think is is equel to Den. goldschmidtianum. But those found in Taiwan had deeper colored blooms and therefore is more popular.
