Unhappy Help! Sad Paph roots!

Hey there everyone!

I obtained two Paphs this past summer, and I haven't seen any root growth yet! I've had a few new leaves on both plants, but the roots are very very poor. Actually, it's not much of a root system at all! The root on one of the Paphs is about two inches long (yes, there's only one root!) and very shallow. The other Paph is similar.

Any suggestions for encouraging root growth? Any suggestions for potting mixtures?

Thanks!

A repotting should do the trick. I tend to use fine bark. I may mix in perlite, charcoal etc...

I would suggest wrapping it in sphag first until the new roots come.

I repotted it once I got it, but I think it's in too coarse a media
I think you may be right about the repotting
