A lot of factors can influence the window choice, some of them mentioned by cf6 in the last post.
A good rule is:
- thinner leaves (paphs, for ex) => no direct sun or too bright light.
- thicker leaves => can tolerate brighter light
These are just general rules...in both cases you have exceptions. Find what your plants like, if they like brigther light use the southern window (no direct sun). If they prefer less light choose the northern instead.
Then see how the plant grow, its leaves green tone (brigther or darker), if it blooms or not.
If necessary adjust.
