Perfect Paph. Maudiae!!!
Finally my Paph. has bloomed after skipping last year! I think last year's miss was due to a sour potting medium, but after repotting last fall, it perked up and went crazy! Normally I can depend on its flowers from March to May, and it is BY FAR my easiest growing plant! Most agree that Phals are easiest, but this plant tolerates a much wider range of temperatures, low humidity, hardly any fertilizer, and practically no light whatsoever. I got it as a division when I was in 7th grade, and it has been delighting me ever since!

That's a great looking Paph! Lovely bloom and so many lush leaves! Sure am impressed that you've had it for so long and it looks so healthy.
Do you only see flowers coming from the new growth?

Elliot, Very nice Paph! She certainly looks to be very happy with you. And I agree, Paphs are much easier to keep than Phals for me.

Thank you for all of your compliments! The flowers are all from new growths, and usually once the flowers open I start to see new growth at the base. Upon looking down into the plant, I have 4 little sprouts, which means 4 flowers next year! Yay!!!
