Wow a mutant, still a cool bloom though. I had a few mutant blooms on a small oncidium. I wonder why they do that

Tim - it could be a genetic mutation or from the bud (plant) being stressed (environmentally) at the time of development ..

Its probably genetics because the plant itself is odd looking
