Paphiopedilum purpuratum

First time blooming this species, just open. May need a few more days to flatten out
I got this plant from Popow November 2016 at slipper symposium.







Getting excited about Paphiopedilum fairrieanum - can't wait !!

A very nice representative of the species. I hope it does flatten for you before the dorsal begins to reflex.
