This plant is my birthday gift and I really want to know the name and how to care for. So can anybody help?

For starters,it's a Paphiopedilum and Happy Bday!

It is a complex Paphiopedilum hybrid, probably with mostly Paph insigne and Paph spicerianum in the ancestry, but there are thousands of such hybrids. It isn't possible to be more specific about a name.

General culture instructions for Paphiopedilum are easily found, and more complete than I can write here. Find and read several sources on the 'net. Orchids Limited does a particularly good job. This type is on the cool side of the temperature range and not for the lowest light levels.

One thing about Paphs that's easy to remember is that warm growing have mottled leafs. The others, like yours are cool growing.

Most people can grow both warmer and cooler growers in their house, so don't worry.

Thanks for all replys! It seems to be a complex hybrid. So because of the green leaves it should be a Paphiopedilum which grows in cooler temperature. Well I’ve found pretty so many informations online.
