I got two flowers this year.
I've been growing this for about three years, and it had proven itself a tough plant. It endured some harsh weathers, both cold and hot; it survived raging fungal attacks and just kept growing on and on.
Definitely an easy one to grow.
To me, the staminode is one of the charming point of this species. Some people say it looks like an alien head! haha.
The backside of flower of Paph. spicerianum is also beautiful. The reflexed dorsal sepal, with blend of pure white and deep purple, with a hint of green at the base is fascinating! (or at least to me)
