Default Paph. pitchweb x wood wonder

This arrived in the late bud stage, so I can't take credit for the flower.

I just loved those raised bumps.
They look like little bugs crawling all over it.

I suspect Paph. sukhakulii may be somewhere in its family tree.

This is a very complex hybrid resulting from 8 species and at least 9 generations of breeding. Paph sukhakulii is the second most predominate species in the background but with that many generations of selective breeding what we see is more about the selection at every generation than about species percentages.

This looks a lot like the Wood Wonder parent. I'm not familiar with Pitchweb, but it would be similar, but maybe not with the very large spots here. It looks like this has potential to be a very nice representative of the type.
