I'll give the superthrive soaking a shot. I'll just put some tape over the drain holes and fill it up with superthrive solution. I may even just get a new bottle to insure it's fresh. No telling how long it'd been sitting on the shelf. I'll do it to my Angraecum Leonis I moved to S/H at the same time, as well.
Just two pics which I have had a look at today which have been in live shagnum moss for 4 months

Yeah as soon as I started watering mine more they started to rot. They do want to dry out. I have switched all mine but one to Semi Hydro. I had this one bulldog type Paph that was not doing well. Due to me over watering when I saw a spike on the way. Well Since I put it in Semi Hydro I have a NEW GROWTH!!!! It is sending out new roots, New leaves and a whole new FAN!

Yes these plants do like semi hydro they switch over so well to it. I even have one with a spike on the way.

I highly recommend semi hydro for Paphs.

I echo the semi-hydro recommendation. My Paphs in semi-hydro (S/H) are the easiest-to-care-for orchids I have.
