Artificial light burn? Female
Default Artificial light burn?

Paph. anitum x sanderianum

You guys warned me to keep an eye out for burning on my paphs...Always had this situated a couple inches past the end of the grow light, but it was in a wine glass which brought it closer to the light. Maybe that extra height was too much?

Does not show on underside of leaf.

I'm not sure that's a burn. I am far more used to seeing the entire patch becoming parchment-like, but maybe you caught it sooner that I aver have.

Oh dear, afraid to ask what you think it might be.

My Paphs get spots like that as well, although I think mine are from water on the leaves or in the crown, then as the leaf grows out the spotted part gets pushed outward. I assume they are localized bacterial or fungal infections of some sort.

What I was saying is that it very well might be a burn, but you caught it and stopped the damage sooner than I had in the past.
