All good thoughts, thanks!

Good to hear that it can do well with bright shade... I really need to focus on shadier growing things as the high light areas are pretty much full. lol. Actually i really need to focus on "dryer" and shadier and mini growing orchids... still figuring out what those could be. another post perhaps... (the orchidarium/terrariums are full too lol)

Can we see a pic of her? I have the same paph but it is crossed with armeniacum and I haven't bloomed it yet.

that would be a cool hybrid, really curious how that would bloom out... ok, here's a pic of her, please excuse the ratty pineapple in the foreground that the other half feels is important to root...

It started to open already!

I'm honestly shocked it made it without blasting... my conditions are just so up and down and all around and all i read is this thing is testy... plus I'm surprised it didn't take all that long from spike/bud forming...

thanks guys... hasn't opened much more than that, but the flower didn't lighten up just a bit... just an adorable flower with such character
