Mine is not fragrant, either.
I doubt fragrance is a common feature of this hybrid, but rather a possible lucky trait.
Not all malipo are scented. Paph. aremeniacum is not known for being fragrant. Mix the two, and there you go! No surprise!
I think the only thing that's "almost" guaranteed to be fragrant are hangianum and emersonii.
Malipoense, delenatii may or may not be scented.
Hybrids of any of these, it is pretty much case by case.

I have two malipo in high bud. I will find out but not keeping my hope too high.
The only thing of parvi section I have that is fragrant, that is quite obviously so and not the one when you have to stick your nose up the flower and think for a few seconds to decide, is Mem. Larry Heuer. Unfortunately, the flower was rather deformed. I'd take nice flower without fragrance over ugly sweetly scented one any day! lol
