This years blooming of Paph. wardii. Front view seems to show petals very short but it's due to reflexion. Actual spread is 110mm tip-to-tip. Overall height from tip of dorsal to bottom of pouch is 90mm.

This was taken with a Nikon digital compact in macro mode using the built-in flash. Had to compensate the exposure by 1/3 stop to get the result I wanted but good result for this type of camera (basically a point-and-shoot).
